Children & Young people’s therapy in Sheffield

Whether your an adult, young person or child we all have times in our lives where we need the support from people around us, whether it’s a family member or a close friend. Sometimes however, this is not enough and we need the help of a professional who can help us to make sense of our experiences. 

Our therapists at the centre in Sheffield have many years of experience in helping children and young people through difficult times in their lives. Helping them to better understand and express themselves and making sense of the world around them.

We can help children and young people who are experiencing many of life’s difficulties such as issues with relationships, personal or family illnesses, bereavement, bulling or issues in school, anxiety or depression to name just a few.

We know how difficult it can be for a child or young person to open up about their experiences which is why our therapists offer a warm and relaxed environment where we allow them to go at their own pace.

All of our therapists that work with children and young people are qualified and registered with a governing body (such as the BACP) that has oversight to their ethical practice. They also have clinical supervision specific to working with children and young people. Your therapist will also have a clear safeguarding and confidentiality policy.
